ABOUT OUR Safety TOOLS

TITANIUM & ALUMINUM BRONZE

Imprex International Inc. provides titanium tools as well as other non-ferrous tool solutions specifically for the repair & maintenance of today’s MRI, NMR, and other high-tesla environments. Simply put, we provide non-magnetic MRI safety tools. For more than 30 years now, Imprex International Inc. has worked in correlation with leading medical device manufactures, and service technicians in an effort provide maintenance solutions that are not only of the highest quality but also completely capable of meeting the demands of this highly specialized field.
MRI SAFETY TOOLS

Non-magnetic, our titanium tools are completely secure for servicing bio-medical or diagnostic imaging machines, such as MRI scanners. Please see the differences between titanium and aluminum bronze tools.

REFINED STRENGTH

Extraordinarily strong, our titanium tools possess a greater strength-to-weight ratio than either stainless, or annealed steel/aluminum. Please see the differences between titanium and aluminum bronze tools. These tools aren't meant for all uses though. If you're looking to unlock that tight screw or nut and you don't need non-ferrous, go with a different steel tool.

LIGHT-WEIGHT

With a density of approximately 60% less than steel, using titanium produces tools at nearly half the weight of steel alternatives. Please see the differences between the titanium and aluminum bronze tools.

CORROSION RESISTANT

All of our tools are highly resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for applications involving acids and alkalis. Please see the differences between titanium and aluminum bronze tools.

HIGH-GRADE MATERIALS

Imprex International Inc. uses only the highest grade titanium available for tool production (6AL-4V). And our aluminum bronze tools are made utilizing high grade alloy conforming to ASTM B150-12. Please see the differences between titanium and aluminum bronze tools.

HEAT RESISTANT

Titanium offers superior high heat transfer efficiency. It has a much higher melting point than steel and is far more resistant to damage caused by heat. Please see the differences between titanium and aluminum bronze tools.

ABOUT OUR TITANIUM

3 TESLA | OTHER SPECS

Once primarily used by the aerospace industry, use of titanium & titanium alloys has been steadily increasing primarily in the medical industry. Due to its natural properties, such as being non-magnetic, low in density, non-corrosive, nontoxic, possessing exceptional strength-to-weight ratios, and being biologically compatible with human tissue/bone, titanium is especially useful for artificial hip and knee replacement, heart valves, and spinal, maxillofacial & other implants. Most MRI machines range between .8 T to 1.5 T, with more powerful units at 3T. Our non-magnetic titanium tools are made with 3T safety in mind.

ABOUT OUR ALUMINUM BRONZE

1.5 TESLA | OTHER SPECS

Aluminum Bronze (AlBr) is non-sparking and non-magnetic up to 1.5 Tesla. Our AlBr tools are manufactured from special Aluminum-Bronze (AlBr) for use in Ex zones where hazardous, flammable or combustible vapors, liquids, dusts or residues may be present. For MRI machines 1.5T and above, we highly recommend our titanium tool kits and tools over AlBr tools.
